it's all these nights
I cant sleep
it’s hard to stay in one place
we get entangled in time
we drift like light on a wave
some days it’s more like a sound
so loud it cracks and it breaks
in all my visions of you
it’s not exactly your face

some of the time gets erased
cant draw the shape of your eyes
cant get it right on the page
sometimes it's less of a lie
